Week ending 12th July 2020

The fishing was really good across the lakes last week. Rod averages for the Rainbow waters of around 3.5 fish per person. Kennick is producing some fantastic boat fishing with Peter Brown leading the way with 17 fish to his boat. Burrator produced 28 fish to Paul Lee’s boat!

The brown trout waters also provided some great sport but definitely challenging with plenty of anglers for Fernworthy and Colliford commenting that plenty of fish were showing but they were hard to tempt! There were a couple of fish over 2lbs recorded at Colliford.

There was less dry fly sport last week across the lakes with nymphs and lures working best. The forecast this week looks really good for some great fishing.

I am looking at re-opening permit rooms at the lakes and will update you on here when I have more news. Permits are only available through our website at the moment or over the phone 01566 771930.

We have 4 boats available at Kennick, 2 at Siblyback and 2 at Roadford. Two people are now permitted per boat.
