Did you know – at Burrator at Stithians we do a 3 hour anytime ticket which is £13 and you can fish any 3 hours of the day you wish. Roadford was the pick of the brown trout fishing last week with a rod average of 4 fish per person. Plenty of action with two anglers recording 6 fish each. Fernworthy boat fishing was a mix of success but there were some fish caught over the deep water.

Best Flies: Spiders, Tadpoles and Soldier palmer

Best Fish: 1lb 8oz for Dean Boucher


Rod average: 1.32 fish per person

Best locations: Boatbay House, South Bank

Best flies: claret bumble, spiders, black and green nymph

Best fish: 1lb for Mr Pearson
